The fauna of the park is represented by mammals typical of Central Europe. Roe deer and red deer are found in the park; wild boars, badgers and foxes; ermines, weasels, and other animals of the marten family; the bats. Sony, hares and hedgehogs live here in small numbers. Mouflons are sometimes found, wild cats and raccoons appear. A total of 44 species of mammals were recorded.

Ederze Lake

On the territory of the national park there are small villages with a pronounced national flavor. Kellerwald-Edersee Park attracts tourists - they offer a variety of excursions.
