How to get from Bergamo Airport to Milan

You can get from Bergamo Airport to Milan by bus or train. Consider both options.

The second largest airport in Milan - Bergamo (Bergamo) is 45 km away from Milan. It serves domestic flights and individual foreign flights of low-cost airlines. Its other name is Orio al Serio (Aeroporto di Bergamo-Orio al Serio). A significant amount of traffic passes through this airport, but passenger comfort is minimal. There is only one terminal.

It is convenient to get to Milan from the airport by bus or taxi; You can also get by local electric train.

By bus

Bergamo Airport Bus Goes to Milan

From Milan-Bergamo Airport to Milan Central Station, a regular shuttle is provided by three carriers: Terravision, Autostradale, Orioshuttle. Buses of these companies depart from the terminal approximately every 30 minutes. with a break from 00.00 to 4.00 at night.

You can find the conditions for ordering tickets, current prices, and a detailed schedule on the websites of carriers: Terravision, Autostradale, Orioshuttle. An online ticket will be cheaper than paying the fare to the driver.

The cost of an electronic one-way ticket is € 5 (and if you buy from the driver, then € 10) or € 9 euro round-trip. Travel time is about 1 hour.

By train

Milan Central Station

By train, you will also reach Milan in about 1 hour. But first you have to use the ATB bus, which will take you from the terminal to the Bergamo train station in 15 minutes. Buses run every 30 minutes. Tickets are sold in special vending machines at the bus stop, and they must be punched during boarding. Bus fare is € 2.

From the Bergamo train station, you can hit the road to Milan. Travel time is about 50 minutes. See train schedules here. A train ticket can be purchased at the box office and terminals, but it is better to book in advance on the Trenitalia website. The cost of an electric train ticket to Milan railway stations - Milano Centrale or Milano Porta Garibaldi - is about € 5.

By car

To leave for Milan by taxi, you need to leave the arrivals area. White cars are waiting for arriving passengers here at the airport. You can immediately take a taxi or book a transfer in advance here. You will be taken to Milan for € 70-80.

At Bergamo Airport, several rental offices provide rental cars.
