Four Italians in the Top 10 most beautiful football players in the world

The Brazilian media concern ranked the 10 most attractive footballers of all time. Almost half of the list was taken by Italians.

Antonio Cabrini (Antonio Cabrini), Paolo Maldini (Paolo Cesare Maldini), Francesco Totti (Francesco Totti) and Fabio Cannavaro (Fabio Cannavaro). Four of the ten most beautiful football players in world history of Italian origin. The rating was compiled by the main Brazilian media concern Globo together with the Globoesporte website, which conducted a survey among Internet users and regular visitors to the site.

The data obtained indicate that in the assessment of beauty (at least for men), Brazilians are not nationalists. In the "magnificent ten" was only one Brazilian unforgettable Bellini. A monument in his honor, set opposite the Maracan stadium, has become a popular tourist attraction: many come here to be photographed against the background of a statue raising a trophy. During his football career, the captain of the Brazilian national team was constantly subjected to “attacks” by fans.

The rating of the most attractive football players in the world could not do without such recognized handsome men as David Beckham and Luis Figo. These players have repeatedly acted as models for fashion brands, as well as Swede Fredrik Jungberg, who starred in an advertisement for underwear. The list is supplemented by a former football player of Milan, Argentine Fernando Redondo and Englishman Michael Owen, whose "face of a child" has broken many women's hearts.

But Brazilians, and especially Brazilian women, with the help of Globo marked Italians as the first world beauties.

Francesco Totti "with long or short hair, with or without a beard, is not important for women: he will always be successful among them. And it is not for nothing that he married Ilari Blazi, she is just as beautiful."

And further: "in the 80s, Antonio Cabrini, a fine example of Italian grace, brought beauty to the field." As for Paolo Maldini, he "fascinated not only with his leadership qualities, technique and physical form, but also with wonderful green eyes." What about Cannavaro? "His success was tremendous: it was enough for him to just enter the field, and all the girls let out a passionate sigh."

1) The most beautiful football player of all time: Ideraldo Luis Bellini (Hilderaldo Luiz Bellini) of Italian origin. Brazil captain, 1958 world champion. He became the first green-gold captain to win the World Cup, after which he became almost a national hero. Due to its popularity, has become the face of many products. Bellini died in March 2014 at the age of 84.

2) In second place is Antonio Cabrini. He began to gain popularity from his first appearances at national competitions and at the 1978 World Cup in Argentina.

In the 70s and 80s, posters with him hung on the walls of not only fans, but also many fans. Today Cabrini is 57 years old.

3) The third step of the pedestal: Fernando Redondo. In the past, a player from Real Madrid and Milan, has won three Champions League in his career. Latin charm, beautiful legs: now Fernando is 45 years old.

4) In fourth place is 35-year-old charm Michael Owen. Everyone likes him always.

5) The fifth position was taken by Paolo Maldini, 46 years old. Handsome for Italians. A handsome man for Brazilians.

6) Sixth: Luis Figo, 42 years old, the image of the macho wins all without exception.

7) In seventh place, a 37-year-old handsome Italian Francesco Totti.

8) Fredrik Jungberg, Swede, 37 years old, indisputable sex symbol. In eighth place rating.

9) David Beckham, 38 years old, in ninth position: for Brazilians, he is "a fashion icon that has bewitched even rivals."

10) The tenth place on the list was taken by Fabio Cannavaro, 40 years old.
